Hidden Holler
TRAIL

Ready to Explore?

Take a break from the everyday and lose yourself on the Hidden Holler Trail. Whether you're hiking to the seasonal waterfall, checking out the nearby historic landmarks, or unwinding by the Buffalo River after your trek, this trail is a perfect way to experience the land at Seven Pines River Resort.

How to Access the Trail

The Hidden Holler Trail is located at the far end of the resort in an area known as "The Cliffs." Look for the clearly marked entrance sign that reads "Hidden Holler Trail" to start your journey into the woods.

Traditional Tent Campsites

Hidden Holler Trail winds its way through the forest, away from the Buffalo River, leading to a seasonal waterfall. Once you reach the falls, take in the peaceful surroundings before heading back down the same path.

● Seasonal Waterfall: The highlight of the trail, offering a quiet and scenic destination.
● Secluded Forest Walk: A peaceful escape into the land, surrounded by the sounds of nature.
● Easy-to-Follow Path: Clearly marked, making it great for hikers of all levels.

What’s Nearby?

Before or after your hike, take advantage of these nearby features:

● Buffalo River Access: Near the entrance of the trail, you’ll find two sets of stone stairs leading down to the river. One of these stairways takes you to a private beach, perfect for relaxing after your hike.
● Local History: Near the river, a steel cable anchored to a cement block remains from the late 1800s, once used by local schoolchildren to cross the river on their way to school.
● Tammy Wynette & George Jones Cabin: Just outside the resort, across the creek on private property, sits a historic cabin where country music legends Tammy Wynette and George Jones once escaped the city to write songs in peace.
